I've waited years to be Grandma - Finally - A Little Piggy - Now, I understand why - Just look at me and you will know why the Baby will only come in the year of the PIG. Congratulation, and thank you both. I'll pray that God will take care of Baby, Mommy and Daddy.

There is a book I highly recommend - The contented Little Baby Book by Gina Ford....my wife told me it is useful, it mentioned how to ftakr care of your baby properly. Hope you and Amy will find it useful.

Do not be too concerned about Amy's weight gain.
My wife Uyen was huge when she carried Kyle. She looked ready to deliver at only 7 months! The doc kept saying, "big baby, big baby, you need to stop eating!"
Uyen had a huge appetite and would not stop, and Big Kyle came, weighing 9 lbs 4 oz! Now 4 years old, Kyle's scrawny but super fast and strong.
My point is - the doc probably does not want a big baby that might complicate natural delivery. However, if mom's body needs more food to feed two, so be it! I read that the bigger the baby, the better the start of a new life.
So...pick your poison and enjoy!
